The new IGiK Digital Library

2020-08-28

The new version is adapted to modern standards and works based on the latest version of the dLibra system developed by the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center. It offers a number of amenities, among them dynamic user interface automatically adapting to the device, a new way of displaying metadata of digital objects and their content, changed mechanism of search engine operation, as well as website integration with the Digital Libraries Federation website.

Since the IGiK Digital Library was launched in 2012, the number of users has reached above 3.5 million today. During the pandemic, access to digital content has become even more important for many people than before, as evidenced by the large increase in the number of users recorded since March this year.

We hope that the new version will simplify and make better your use of resources available in the Digital Library of the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, now also available on mobile devices.
